Brevent, murky kill, can app-standby (since Android 6.0, not supported on some devices) or drive-kill apps without root, kill apps from working in very lengthy time.
Brevent never brevent apps not in Bervent list. If apps are launched then give up (tapping Abet or so), Brevent will app-standby them; if apps timed out in standby, or swiped from recents screen, Brevent will drive-kill them. Each time apps are working without activity, Brevent will drive-kill them.
Apps in Brevent list will most definitely be area “allow sync” to get notifications or attain sync jobs. Brevent received't standby “allow sync” apps, and Brevent received't drive-kill “allow sync” apps with notifications or working in background.
Brevent supports Android 5.0 to Android Q Beta 4, requires “USB debugging” in “developer alternatives”.
Since Android 8, Brevent received't work if debugging is off or USB possibility is changed. If debugging turns off have to you unplug the cable, please alternate USB possibility. In total, it's OK to lend a hand USB possibility as default.
