Brevent, dusky forestall, can app-standby (since Android 6.0, no longer supported on some gadgets) or power-quit apps without root, forestall apps from working in very long time.

Brevent by no diagram brevent apps no longer in Bervent list. If apps are launched then quit (tapping Serve or so), Brevent will app-standby them; if apps timed out in standby, or swiped from recents show, Brevent will power-quit them. At any time when apps are working without project, Brevent will power-quit them.

Apps in Brevent list will be space “allow sync” to procure notifications or assemble sync jobs. Brevent won't standby “allow sync” apps, and Brevent won't power-quit “allow sync” apps with notifications or working in background.

Brevent supports Android 5.0 to Android 10, requires “USB debugging” in “developer alternatives”.

Since Android 8, Brevent won't work if debugging is off or USB option is modified. If debugging turns off whereas you unplug the cable, please alternate USB option. In most cases, it's OK to withhold USB option as default.
